Kringler Guest House

Kringler guesthouse has 49 beds in 34 rooms, and is located only 15 minutes from Gardermoen. Inside the big barn you will find a top modern meeting and conference hall where we can accommodate up to 90 people. The barn has all facilities with a dining room, meeting rooms for small and large groups and pleasant living rooms. Kringler is facilitated for courses, conferences, leadership meetings, good experiences in a highly productive working environment.

On the farm we produce a lot of our own ingredients and food that are being served at the guesthouse, and our kitchen value good quality and great flavors. Kringler guesthouse has its own farm brewery, where we brew all the beer we serve. Tours and tastings in the farm brewery has also become a popular activity.

Breivoll Farm

Nature and hiking trails
Around Breivoll you will find a coastal path along the fjord, a cultural trail through a fairy tale forest, blue-marked forest trails, swimming areas and large lawns. The area has protected oak trees and rich birdlife, and is suitable for both short child-friendly walks and longer walks along the coast and in the forest.

Activities and kayaking
Here you can rent a kayak, and join organized paddling trips and courses during the summer season.
The open outdoor areas invite you to play, ball games, barbecue areas, lavvoer and low-threshold outdoor activities for all ages.

Meeting and event locations
Breivoll Farm has several meeting and event rooms in different sizes and styles, suitable for everything from small gatherings to larger events with a capacity of up to approx. 80 guests. The hosts prepare the food in their own kitchen, and the menu is adapted to suit the event.

Accommodation and accessibility
The modernized barn has 28 beds in classic DNT style, plus 20 hammock spaces in one large room. We can accommodate about 50 overnight guests. It is also possible to stay outside. The area is well-equipped with step-free access, disabled toilets and wheelchair-friendly walking paths.

Are you travelling through the Gardermoen area?? Thon Hotel Gardermoen is situated only 10 minutes from Oslo Airport Gardermoen. We can provide a good night’s sleep in modern, spacious, and functional hotel rooms and a great breakfast buffet to start your day. We cooperate with Flytribe where you can fly in their wind tunnel, situated only 500 meters from the hotel, 97minutes’ walk.

The most beautiful Hamar has to offer

One of Norway's largest medieval museums providing an insight into our history from the Viking era, through the Middle Ages and up until today. The glass structure covering the cathedral ruins is the main attraction, and this is where visitors are told the dramatic story of how the church was destroyed. They also get to experience the fantastic acoustics as the guides show off their singing skills. 

 

The open air museum by Mjøsa comprises over 60 antique buildings from the Hedmark villages. Permanent exhibitions are available in Storhamarlåven from the 1700s, converted to a museum by architect Sverre Fehn. Guided tours of the country's largest ecological herb garden are also available.

The Asker libraries are vibrant meeting places for culture and knowledge and are located at Tofte, Midtbygda, Slemmestad, Heggedal and Asker centre. At the library, you are free to borrow books, art and equipment, read newspapers and magazines, study, make use of our computers and spend time with friends and family. We host events and activities for young and old several times a week.

Bærums Verk

Handelsstedet Bærums Verk has roughly 50 shops, artisans, workshops, galleries and eateries.

Verksgata, which consists of old houses for labourers from the 18th century, is open seven days a week all year round. Here you can find the artisan workshop of the smith, glass blowers, silversmiths, art galleries, eateries including pizza and pancakes, chocholate shop, delicatessen with local produce and other unique shops. The shopping mall in the old factory hosts a large selection of interior shops and chic clothes for the whole family.

Bærums Verk is a lovely place to visit for a day excursion and shopping. Walk along the river among the sculptures and the wooden houses, enjoy a good meal in one of the restaurants and cafes or visit the artisans in their atelier.

The beautiful sculpture park at Bærums Verk include 28 sculptures made by renowned Norwegian artists – a collection that expands with a new sculpture every year. Open 24/7 to the public.
