kunstSONen Gallery & Workshop is located in the center of Son and is run by six artists. We offer high-quality visual arts and crafts.
In the gallery you always meet at least one of the artists. We also have an open workshop in kunstSONen where much of the art is made, so welcome to us.
Here is also the municipality's beautiful library and open dining options in the municipal courtyard.

For over 400 years, people have lived and worked at Bærums Verk. The original ironworks from 1610 is an experience in itself where it is located in a rarely beautiful area in authentic industrial historical surroundings. The trading place Bærums Verk has received several awards, among others. The Building Practice Award in 1988 and the ICSC's international award for innovation in the development of shopping centers in 1998. In 2002, we also received Olavsrosa, which is awarded by the Norwegian Cultural Heritage. This is a trademark for experience offerings based on the Norwegian cultural heritage.

We present an ambitious program with national and international artists and young talents. Bærum Kunsthall works with several projects for the local environment, guided tours, hosting workshops for children and youths as well as various open events with free entrance.

The Norwegian Cartoonist Gallery is part of a consolidated network of museums in the Greater Oslo area. Founded in 1999, we show illustrations, drawings, comics and political & satirical cartoons.
One of our missions is to promote cartoons as a worthy art form, and we sell both originals and limited edition prints. We also sell a range of other graphic works.

Experimental and creative art in historical surroundings
Kunstbanken Hedmark Kunstsenter exhibits high-quality Norwegian national and international art in premises full of character. The art centre is located in the old Norges Bank building in Hamar. In its eight galleries there are temporary exhibitions with focus on applied and visual art. Art experiences are offered to a range of different audiences through travelling exhibitions.
Kunstaperitiffen, held every Thursday at 12:00 (except in periods between exhibitions), is a 15-minute presentation of one or more relevant exhibitions. It is free of charge, and explores the subject matter from different perspectives.
The premises are also available for meetings and special occasions. Kunstbanken offers bespoke events tailored to your requirements, incl. refreshments and guided tour of the exhibition.
Festivals and exciting art expressions
Kunstbanken brings exciting expressions of art thorough its biannual performance festival, and acts as a professional arts consultant to companies and individuals. The overall aim is to showcase a diverse range of artistic expressions, with main focus on experimental and creative art.
Art shop with beautiful gifts
Visit Kunstbutikken for arts and crafts made by professional artists from Hedmark and the rest of the country. Among the items to choose from are jewellery, glass art, pottery, various textiles (scarves, shawls, cushions), visual art (prints, paintings, drawings, sculptures, photos, mixed techniques), metalwork, and other artworks.

VolArt Art Workshop and Gallery opened its doors on 31 October 2015 in Kulturgaten behind Flytårnet at Gamle Fornebu. VolArt will be of interest to visitors of all ages with regular new elements of art and culture from both artists associated with Gamle Fornebu Culture Centre as well as national and international contemporary artists.
Take the chance to visit us when you are visiting the exciting Fornebulandet with the beautiful nature with Nansenparken and all the art and cultural elements that are in the area.

Works in the materials ceramics and glass and specializes in the techniques of raku and smoke burning.
Ågårdselva was a site for lumber cutting as early as in the 1600 century, and between 1860-1880 the saw mill was operating at full capacity. In 1973 the Dørje-Berg family purchased the old sawmill and restored the remaining buildings. Today these buildings serve as a workshop for the ceramic artist Eva Dørje-Berg and her son Ole Dørje, the painter. Throughout the year, Soli Brug host art exhibitions in the old restored houses. Guided tours can be arranged for groups.
Haaken L. Mathiesen's function rooms at Eidsvoll Verk from 1909 today house the district's leading art gallery and cultural heritage centre. The gallery has 8-10 changing exhibitions each year, presenting works by well-known artist.
Shop selling art & crafts and jewellery. Galleri Festiviteten is steeped in culture and well-worth a visit. The cafe in the cellar is idyllically located close to and with views of the River Andelva.
