The Oslofjord Museum

The Oslofjord Museum is a creative new venture among Norwegian museums; a new and unique foray into educational experiences.

The Oslofjord Museum, opened spring of 2013 in Vollen in Asker, originated as a large wooden ship collection acquired by Follo Museum in the 1990s.

The Oslofjord Museum has an ideal location at Maudbukta – where Roald Amundsen built his polar exploration ship “Maud”, where Anker & Jensen built their classic sailboats and where the Selvik villa from the 1880s stood for many years as a base for the display of the cultural heritage of the Asker coastline.

Galleri Festiviteten

Haaken L. Mathiesen's function rooms at Eidsvoll Verk from 1909 today house the district's leading art gallery and cultural heritage centre. The gallery has 8-10 changing exhibitions each year, showing works by well-known artist.

Shop selling art & crafts and jewellery. Galleri Festiviteten is steeped in culture and well-worth a visit. The cafe in the cellar is idyllically located close to and with views of the River Andelva.

Follo museum

Follo museum is idyllically located by Seiersten in Drøbak. The museum has recently restored Taraldrudlåven, and rents out the barn for weddings, parties and conferences. Perfect for those who want a beautiful and special setting for an event. The museum can also arrange lectures, experiences or guided tours during the visit.

The barn has a small kitchen and two toilets, the hall has a capacity of 100 people.
