Øvre Sem Guesthouse

Øvre Sem Gård has operated as a hotel for several years.

With buildings from the 19th century, personal touch, historical ambiance, local food and a central location they have combined old traditions with contemporary facilities and created a warm and welcoming destination.

Øvre Sem Gård is idyllically located right by the Semsvannet in Asker, only 15 minutes by car from Oslo.

Accommodation

Overnight in a venerable and historic hotel with 47 rooms, of which 2 are junior suites and 3 family rooms. Get up in the morning and enjoy a delicious breakfast with produce from local producers and a beautiful view of the garden.

The menu at Øvre Sem contains high-quality ingredients sourced directly from local farmers and producers with the aim of offering guests a unique dining experience.

Venue

At Øvre Sem, they can accommodate venues and meetings for up to 140 people in rural and historic surroundings. With knowledge, the facilities and the technical equipment in order, everything is ready for your next event.

Events and activities

At Øvre Sem there will be activity all year round. Various markets, concerts, food & drink events as well as guided historic tours are organized throughout the year.

Close to Oslo city and Oslo airport Gardermoen, in a rural and peaceful environment, you will find Smakfulle Rom conference hotel.

We have renovated an old barn and the style is rustic, but modern. For smaller groups, we can offer an exclusive meeting room with an own living room and a smaller dining room. The main conference hall can take up to 135 persons, and we have 15 modern hotel rooms with 24 beds.
The atmosphere is cosy and comfortable with focus on personal service and real cuisine experiences.

Gamlebyen Hotel

Gamlebyen Hotell is located in the venerable Graffgården, in the Old Town. The hotel has 16 cozy rooms, all differently decorated, each with its own personal style and high living standard. All rooms have been recently refurbished and is equipped with TV and free Wifi. Breakfast buffet is served at VÆRK just around the corner.

The hotel offers its own suite – the Holberg Suite – with a full kitchen and seating area for about 12 people adjacent to the hotel, as well as the unique Raadhus stable on Kongens Torv. The suite is of a high standard with unique details. The Raadhus stable is rented out in collaboration with Elisabeth Gyllensten & Geir Stahl – owners of "The old Raadhus with stable building" – in 1767. Guests who live here have almost the entire building at their disposal and can freely use a cozy backyard.

The Raadhus stable has been restored in close collaboration with the city antiquarian and county conservator and contains: main bedroom and bathroom in the stable on the 1st floor, fully equipped kitchen and living room on the 2nd floor in the old loft, and an additional bedroom. A total of four beds – and 85 sqm with spacious space.

In Plussgården, Gamlebyen Hotell offers two new meeting rooms, one with space for 12 and a slightly smaller one with space for 8. Both have new modern equipment for hybrid meetings and an associated break room with the option of serving lunch and break food.

Hankø Hotel & Spa

South east of the Oslo fjord, about an hour's drive from Oslo and 15 minutes from Fredrikstad, is one of Norway's most beautiful islands, Hankø. (3 minutes by ferry to the mainland)

Today the hotel is situated where Hankø bad og Kystsanatorium was built in 1877. It was here artists and aristocrats came to endulge in mud baths and drink healthy mineral water. This business ceased operations during the latter part of the 1930s.

Some 70 years later, in 2002, Hankø Fjordhotell and spa opened its doors to one of the finest spas in Scandinavia. Your wellbeing and relaxation is of upmost important to us. We are proud to offer a hotel with natural and historical surroundings, such as tombs from the Bronze Age. The hotel also has 4 tennis courts, a mini golf course, a sporting hall (Hankøhallen), football ground and our own beach (Trouville).

At Hankø there are 160 private summer houses.

Godthullia in Frogn

Just 40 minutes from the city center of Oslo you will find Godthullia with two newly built, gorgeous, and modern holiday homes. The property is in a quiet area and can offer a panoramic view of the Oslo Fjord. With walking distance to the pier and local beaches you have good opportunities for recreation and a nice swim.

Both houses are well suited for both family and friends, as well as for smaller board- and management gatherings where a quiet environment and unity are important settings.

The houses

From the hallway there is access to the living room / dining room / kitchen in an open solution, with extra good ceiling height and large windows that give the room a bright and good atmosphere. Here you can gather for nice meals with family and friends or use it as a meeting room for small groups. Exit from the living room on to a large, partially covered, terrace that extends along the entire front of the holiday home. Inside there are three good siced bedrooms and two modern, tiled bathrooms on the 1st floor. One bathroom is connected to the master bedroom, which is equipped with sliding doors and ceiling-high windows to the west and the fjord view.

There is Wi-Fi access and the possibility to charge an electric car.

Other things worth noting

Both Kolonial.no and Meny Drøbak Amfi offer food delivery at the door. If catering or cooking services are desired, Golf-restauranten.no can be recommended.

For the purchase of goods, the Vinterbro shopping center is suitable if you come driving from Oslo. Alternatively, Drøbak has a rich selection of shops.
