Bølgen bath & activity center

Bølgen bath and activity center opened in June 2019, and are located in Drøbak just 40 minutes drive from Oslo. Here you will find great swimming facilities, a fitness center, a café and a health clinic.

Bølgen bath & activity center is open all year round and offer 25 meter sports pool, therapy pool, wave pool and a separate area with children's pool and play area. 5-, 3- and 1-meters high diving tower, water slide, saunas, cold pool and whirlpool. Get in touch if you want to arrange a children's birthday party at Bølgen bath.

Bølgen café focuses on homemade food with good ingredients. With our large kitchen and professional expertise from the chefs, we are able to offer a good and varied menu. We can offer something for every taste and occasion either from our fast food menu, or healthier varieties with a wide selection of spreads, baked goods, homemade smoothies, colorful salad bar and much more.

Bølgen training includes gym, yoga room, bike room and gym. At Bølgen Health Clinic, there are physiotherapists, osteopaths / physiotherapists and naprapaths.

Floating tents on Helgøya island

Accommodation of the year at Helgøya – Tree tents (Stingray).
Helgøya Climbing Adventure Park has five tree-tents for hire. Each tent sleeps three adults. The tents can be set up at a location of your choice, but you are very welcome to “hang around” in the forest here at Helgøya Climbing Adventure Park, close to our cosy woodland shelter.

The woodland shelter is in a secluded setting within easy reach of the climbing park, and has a campfire with firewood at hand. There are also outdoor toilet facilities available to those spending the night in a tree tent.

A full day in the high-ropes park followed by meal by the campfire and a night in a tree tent is the perfect outdoor adventure!

Whether you are in transit or are part of a conference group, you will receive personal service from our employees, enjoy good and Nordic food with local ingredients in the restaurant and get a good night’s sleep in our newly renovated rooms.

The hotel has recently undergone a complete renovation of the premises. At Best Western Plus Oslo Airport you will find state-of-the-art conference facilities and 201 tasteful double rooms with a total of 396 beds. All rooms have free WIFI and Chromecast. The restaurant can seat up to 100 people, and our outdoor terrace, with a sheltered location and views of nature, seats up to 80 people.

We have a total of 9 meeting rooms that can be tailored for gatherings for 2 to 110 participants. All rooms are on the same level and have natural lighting. The meeting rooms have been updated with modern technical equipment to support all kinds of events.

In addition to our traditional meeting rooms, we can also offer two Chambre Séparée.

Come dine with us in our new and fresh restaurant! We are proud to work with local and dedicated suppliers that provide us with the best ingredients. This allows our eminent chef to pick out what is best for our menu, according to the season.

Our barception is open 24 hours a day, and has a lobby shop with a selection of drinks and snacks. In addition to our 200 parking spaces, we also have 12 charging stations for electric cars. Our gym is available for all our guests. The gym is 48 square meters and supplied with modern fitness equipment.

Øvre Sem Guesthouse

Øvre Sem Gård has operated as a hotel for several years.

Hurdalsjøen Hotel & Spa

Welcome to Hurdalsjøen Hotel.

A retreat just north of Gardermoen Hurdalsjøen Hotel is located north of Akershus – in Hurdal municipality.

1 hour from Oslo and a half hour from the airport Nevertheless, the contrast from the large busy intersections to rural and idyllic location by Hurdalsjøen. The forest, water and nature is the nearest neighbors.

A hotel for meetings, conferences and activities The hotel has 110 rooms and 21 meeting and conference rooms, we cover most of conference needs. In the plenary, we can take groups up to 200 people in theater style and 150 people in school settings. We also have several large meeting rooms.

It own a la caerte restaurant called Ax – and Bryggeri Blå by Hurdalsjøen hotel has now started brewing beer in the cellar of the hotel.
The beer, like all other of the hotel's beer types, can be enjoyed at the hotel.

All our meeting rooms have internet access, daylight and air conditioning. great location The grounds of 50 acres has about 400 meters of beach to the beautiful Hurdalsjøen.

Kringler Guest House

Kringler guesthouse has 49 beds in 34 rooms, and is located only 15 minutes from Gardermoen. Inside the big barn you will find a top modern meeting and conference hall where we can accommodate up to 90 people. The barn has all facilities with a dining room, meeting rooms for small and large groups and pleasant living rooms. Kringler is facilitated for courses, conferences, leadership meetings, good experiences in a highly productive working environment.

At Kringler guesthouse you will experience a unique atmosphere where traditions meet innovation. Stokke Nedre

Experience lakeside idyll in a historical setting at a peaceful haven by lake Mjøsa!

About the farm
The farm Stokke Nedre enjoys a scenic setting where you can savour a unique and peaceful atmosphere. The farm is located 11 kilometres north of Gjøvik town centre, just south of the bridge Mjøsbrua. Here you can hold functions, conferences and seminars in beautiful surroundings.

Activities
The farm boasts an 800-metre shoreline along lake Mjøsa, where guests can enjoy recreational and leisure activities, and there are also some fine fishing places nearby. In addition to fishing, you can enjoy swimming, boating and canoeing, and take walks in historic surroundings.

Accommodation
The large traditional food store building has five newly renovated bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. There is also a common room and a small kitchen for self-catering.
The main building has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The farm also has three basic standard cottages on the waterfront, each sleeping 4-6 people. Accommodation is available with or without breakfast.

Conference facilities
Let us arrange your functions and meetings/seminars. The main building has a capacity of 35-40 people in the function room and lounges. The dining room and the stone grotto in the cellar are suitable for smaller groups of up to 14 people. The boat house on the shore of lake Mjøsa can accommodate up to 25 people, and there is a spacious outdoor area suitable for barbecues etc. In association with our partners, we can tailor events and catering to suit your requirements.

Wærpen holiday homes

Wærpen Gård is idyllically located only 40 minutes from the center of Oslo and 60 minutes from Gardermoen Airport, and offers private and quiet surroundings for your next event or holiday. We have 4 houses of different sizes for rent with beds from 6-24 people in each house. In addition, we rent out Nedre Wærpen Gård with tents for up to 120 people in the garden. The houses can be rented individually or together.

The farm has its own coastline. Here you can enjoy life both sea and land, with fishing and swimming. There are many nice attractions locally, such as Oscarsborg Fortress, Håøya-island, Holmsbu, Villa Malla, Drøbak, Son and peaceful scenic areas where you can be completely to yourself.

House and cabins for rent for events, team buildings and vacations

As a guest in our cabins and houses you experience the Oslo Fjord at its best. We have 4 holiday homes for rent of different sizes. Several of the houses have large lawns outside.

The marina is close by, where you can rent a small boat for pleasant excursions.

THE HARBOR (350 m2, 17 people)

The harbor yard has been named one of the 100 most unique holiday homes in Europe by the travel operator Novasol, which is one of the largest players in holiday homes in Europe.

Havnegården is a house of 350 sqm, sleeping capacity for 17 adults. 2 bathrooms + guest toilet, 2 kitchens fully equipped, one kitchen has a 1700s long table that seats 12 people. Dining room with dining area for 10 people and large living room with dining area for 28 people. 1 kitchen entrance and large main entrance.

THE YELLOW HOUSE (400 m2, 17 people)

Åsen is a log house of about 400 sqm, sleeping capacity for 17 people, 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens with all accessories. A large dining room with long table where you can cater for 20 people. Living room with seating capacity for 20 people. There are 2 spacious times with wood stoves. The house is nicely furnished and is well suited for family gatherings.

There is a good patio with large decking with garden furniture for 20 people.

The house is located completely by itself, in quiet scenic surroundings, with a fantastic view over the Oslo Fjord. There are many hiking opportunities in the immediate area, and the hiking trail starts at the exit door.

HOLMEN (24 people)

Holmen is a small island with its own land connection via a small bridge. Here you can be completely to yourself with a great lawn for activities and garden parties. Several deep water jetties and own sandy beach. The garden is well suited for gathering the extended family.

The house itself with annexes takes 24 nights. If you want more accommodation, it is possible to rent our other houses and cottages, as these are within walking distance of Holmen.

UROA (60 m2, 6 people)

Uroa is a 60 sqm cabin, sleeping capacity for 6 people, 1 bathroom, 1 fully equipped kitchen, large lovely veranda with lovely views out to Furuholmen and the Oslofjord with the beach and boat just below the cabin.

The Well Spa and Hotel

The large outdoor area has pools, hot tubs, sun loungers, cabanas, a Pool Side Bar and a unique Sculpture Path.

The Well is built on continental bathing traditions. You choose whether you want to swim with or without swimwear, in saunas and steam rooms where swimwear is not allowed you can cover yourself with a peshtemal or towel. In all public areas you are covered with a bathrobe.

The Prairie Wagon

The Prairie Wagon

Stay in a charming prairie wagon, just a few meters from the water. The wagon features a comfortable double bed and a large window that lets you wake up to a stunning view of the lake. The balcony faces the evening sun, and around you, horses graze in the open landscape.

This is the perfect getaway for two people seeking something truly special – a taste of the Wild West combined with modern comfort. The wagon has a touch of luxury and a nostalgic cowboy atmosphere.

Amenities:

The prairie wagon has a fire pit and a gas stove for cooking. For lighting, there’s a solar lamp and candles.

We provide made-up beds and clean towels.

There is a bathroom with a toilet and shower in the barn, about 70 meters away. The barn also has a refrigerator for storing food and drinks.

About the place:

The prairie wagon is located on the Basnes peninsula by Lake Mjermen. We dare say that Basnes is one of the most beautiful places in Eastern Norway. It's a working small farm with lots of horses. The farmyard is cozy, with charming houses and a barn built in a traditional Norwegian farmhouse style, mixed with a rugged western/ranch aesthetic.

The prairie wagon is set apart by the water, just a short walk from the farmyard, with complete privacy except for views from the lake. The area is fenced in, so you have it all to yourself. Parking is available at the farmyard.

The sandy beach is about 50 meters from the prairie wagon – perfect for morning swims and sunbathing.

Additional information:

The prairie wagon is part of the Basnes Trail Rides concept. We offer horseback rides and western-themed experiences. Your stay can be combined with a trail ride or other adventures.

The area where the prairie wagon is located is fenced off so the horses don’t come too close. The herd is calm and friendly, and you can walk through the pasture. However, feeding the horses is strictly forbidden! Feeding them will cause them to crowd around you, which can lead to conflicts among the horses as they all want treats.
