The light on the Tanum Plateau is magical, summer and winter.
At Skui Farm you can have a lot of fun in the country side. Experience the sunset, the moonlight, the light from the fire, the northern lights and the sunrise. Situated in nature, amongst the fields with view to the valley and Kolsåstoppen. And yet only 25 minutes from Oslo city center.
Throughout the summer, the event arena is open for large and small gatherings and celebrations. Most Saturdays in the summer we organize live music in the Summer Cafe with a fantastic atmosphere around the barbeques and the oven. Bring your own food, buy drinks at the bar.
In December we organize Christmas tree events and a Christmas market. Enjoy horse sleigh rides, fantastic toboggan runs and lots of fun for young and old alike.

GranBar Directly above The Social Bar & Bistro you will find our hotel bar, GranBar. After the good dinner, the run, the conference or simply a long day, it is relaxing to sit down with a glass of something good in the bar. GranBar is the natural meeting place for a refreshing drink and socializing, and we offer both shuffleboard, foosball and other games.
The bar is open every day except Sunday, from 17:00 – 22:00.

You can also swim in the summer and ice skate in the winter just 5 minutes' walk away from the hotel. Jessheim's town centre is situated 2.5km from the hotel and offers a wide range of cultural experiences, a cinema and great shopping. Welcome!
This monumental barrow is located close to center of Jesshein and Gardermoen airport, only 6 kilometers from highway E6. The mound is larger than any other burial mound in northern Europe and its construction is alo exceptional; between soil and sand, 75000 logs are piled in three pyramid shaped layers.
The original height was more than 18 meters and the diameter about 77 meters. The burial mound was built during one winter and summerr, sometime between 533-551 AD.
