Vertshuset Bærums Verk event

Our charming premises in the red-painted house are suitable for both large and small events. The hospitality rooms have a rustic and good atmosphere and are suitable for gatherings of 2-56 people.

For each gathering we put together a menu that suits both the occasion and your wishes. Based on the best seasonal ingredients, we ensure a taste experience that harmonizes with the atmosphere and the guests – and not least with our passion for quality.

For smaller gatherings we have four beautiful rooms where you and your guests will be undisturbed and private; Doktorstuen, Kammerset, Kjøkkenbordet and Jomfruburet. All in the main house.

For larger gatherings we have three beautiful event rooms: our largest room Låven which is located directly across the yard, Stuen which is the heart of the main house and Loftet which has spacious space on the first floor.

We serve classic dishes from French gastronomy – always with a playful twist. The menu follows the seasons and is based on ingredients that are at their best at all times. We collect, pickle and ferment the ingredients from nature to give each dish its own distinctive character. Therefore, you can look forward to a varied and tasty experience, where the rhythm of nature sets the tone for what comes on your plate.

Are you celebrating an anniversary or gathering colleagues? We have beautiful living rooms and premises for small and large events, where we set up a good atmosphere and put together a suitable menu in consultation with you.

As Norway's oldest serving place, Vertshuset was built around 1640 at Bærums Jern Werk, to control drinking among the workers in safe surroundings. Welcome.
