Smedstad Holiday Farm

Velkommen til Smedstad Gård

I et vakkert og vekslende kulturlandskap kan vi tilby en gåd i et levende miljø, med stemning og tradisjoner.

I vår "Gjestestue" tar vi imot kurs, møter, selskaper og grupper for bespisning. Tadisjonell norsk hjemmelaget mat på en familiedrevet gård med atmosfære og gyr.

Gården ligger 30 km nord for Oslo og 18 km sør for Gardermoen.  Frokost, servering eller selvhusholdning. TV-stue, eget røykerom. To felles bad, ellers er det vaskeservant med varmt/kaldt vann på alle rommene. Det er mulighet for omvisning i gårdens produksjon – da med fokus på gårdens melkeproduksjon. Velkommen til et levende miljø i rolige omgivelser.

Odden Marina

N 59.46.59 E 10.30.01 and easy access – you navigate straight towards the Heidelberg Materials (formerly Norcem) silos in Slemmestad (at night marked with red lights on top). There are no toilets and showers in the harbor facility, but toilets are available during the library's opening hours.
The coastal town of Slemmestad is now being built www.kystbyen-slemmestad.no, but there are still good reasons to visit Odden Marina and Slemmestad. A new temporary residents' square has been built, where you will find the Library, Cement Museum, Geology Center, Taste of Italy – Italian specialties in raw materials www.smakavitalia.no, Cafe Plenum – lunch, bread and cakes – www.plenumslemmestad.com. Five minutes walk from the city center is Rortunet Shopping Center www.rortunet.no, and not far from CircleK and Idrettspark.
Free day spaces are available outside on the inner pier F towards
Reservable guest spaces can be found on the Mooringo App that you download to your mobile phone (App Store and Google Play).
When you register, you enter your payment card, as well as information about your boat (length, width, depth and weight).

When you later search for a free space, you will only see spaces that are suitable for your boat.
Booking and payment for a guest space is only done via the Mooringo app. Log in and search for Odden Marina. Click on the harbor symbol and you will see if there are any free spaces (Zoom in for details).
When you see a space on the map that is shown as green, you can easily book it with a few clicks. Once you have paid, this space will appear as red and is therefore not available to anyone else during the period you have booked.
You can only book for two consecutive nights, and the reservation is set from 3:00 PM on the arrival date and 12:00 PM on the departure date.
Guest marina prices including water and electricity can be found on the
Mooringo App. Please select available spaces in the app that are adapted to your boat size, if they are occupied, smaller boats can book into larger spaces.

Øyeren experiences – Accomodation

The nature park at Sand farm, managed by Øyerenopplevelser AS, is over 12 acres and has 1.5 km of shoreline. The area is designed for play, activities and recreation. Here you can rent accomodation and have the opportunity to use a beach volleyball court, a small Frisbee golf course, a small off-road cycle track, swimming areas, sitting areas, approx. 2 km of hiking trails.

 

Accommodation:

The lighthouse. Here you enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony while you see the view over the island. The lighthouse has a pleasant apartment on the second floor with 4 bedrooms, a total of 6 beds. The apartment has a shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove and dishwasher. See more info on our booking page.

 

The Old farmhouse, approx. 60 m2, one floor with sleeping loft. Here you sense a historical rush from the 325-year-old walls and roof. Combined living room and kitchenette. The house has a total of 4 beds where 3 of the beds are up in the loft (steep stairs up). There is a toilet in the building, not a shower. Coming soon.

 

Hover tent. Staying overnight in a hover tent is a real outdoor experience where you get close to nature. Soar under the night sky and gaze at the stars until you fall asleep. On request.

 

The hosts are looking forward to showing you the area and all that nature has to offer, through the different seasons. Øyeren experiences are only open to those who rent accommodation, and therefore do not have fixed opening hours.

Wærpen holiday homes

Wærpen Gård is idyllically located only 40 minutes from the center of Oslo and 60 minutes from Gardermoen Airport, and offers private and quiet surroundings for your next event or holiday. We have 4 houses of different sizes for rent with beds from 6-24 people in each house. In addition, we rent out Nedre Wærpen Gård with tents for up to 120 people in the garden. The houses can be rented individually or together.

The farm has its own coastline. Here you can enjoy life both sea and land, with fishing and swimming. There are many nice attractions locally, such as Oscarsborg Fortress, Håøya-island, Holmsbu, Villa Malla, Drøbak, Son and peaceful scenic areas where you can be completely to yourself.

House and cabins for rent for events, team buildings and vacations

As a guest in our cabins and houses you experience the Oslo Fjord at its best. We have 4 holiday homes for rent of different sizes. Several of the houses have large lawns outside.

The marina is close by, where you can rent a small boat for pleasant excursions.

THE HARBOR (350 m2, 17 people)

The harbor yard has been named one of the 100 most unique holiday homes in Europe by the travel operator Novasol, which is one of the largest players in holiday homes in Europe.

Havnegården is a house of 350 sqm, sleeping capacity for 17 adults. 2 bathrooms + guest toilet, 2 kitchens fully equipped, one kitchen has a 1700s long table that seats 12 people. Dining room with dining area for 10 people and large living room with dining area for 28 people. 1 kitchen entrance and large main entrance.

THE YELLOW HOUSE (400 m2, 17 people)

Åsen is a log house of about 400 sqm, sleeping capacity for 17 people, 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens with all accessories. A large dining room with long table where you can cater for 20 people. Living room with seating capacity for 20 people. There are 2 spacious times with wood stoves. The house is nicely furnished and is well suited for family gatherings.

There is a good patio with large decking with garden furniture for 20 people.

The house is located completely by itself, in quiet scenic surroundings, with a fantastic view over the Oslo Fjord. There are many hiking opportunities in the immediate area, and the hiking trail starts at the exit door.

HOLMEN (24 people)

Holmen is a small island with its own land connection via a small bridge. Here you can be completely to yourself with a great lawn for activities and garden parties. Several deep water jetties and own sandy beach. The garden is well suited for gathering the extended family.

The house itself with annexes takes 24 nights. If you want more accommodation, it is possible to rent our other houses and cottages, as these are within walking distance of Holmen.

UROA (60 m2, 6 people)

Uroa is a 60 sqm cabin, sleeping capacity for 6 people, 1 bathroom, 1 fully equipped kitchen, large lovely veranda with lovely views out to Furuholmen and the Oslofjord with the beach and boat just below the cabin.

Bjerknes Bed & Breakfast

Bjerknes Farm

Bjerknes Farm offers bed and breakfast accommodation . "Farm tourism" has old traditions in Norway and is maintained by younger generations in the form of a pleasant accommodation offer in traditional surroundings, far away from city noise and mass tourism. At Bjerknes Farm, you can relax and enjoy nature in peace and quiet, while being very close to a range of activities and cultural offerings.

You stay in a house that was built 200 years ago but still offers good comfort. There is a living room with a TV and a private kitchen for self-catering. The rooms are comfortable and homely. The color scheme is harmonious, and you feel a safe and good atmosphere in the old house.

Outdoor activities with fishing and swimming opportunities

For those who enjoy outdoor activities, Bjerknes Farm offers many opportunities. There are several swimming spots along the shores of Lake Mjøsa and in the bays of the Vorma River. If you are a fishing enthusiast, you can rent a boat and try fishing in the Vorma or Mjøsa. We offer weekly rentals with boats and gasoline included in the rent.

Many good activity offers

Bjerknes Farm is located near a number of cultural offerings. From Eidsvoll, you can take the Skibladner to Gjøvik, Hamar, and Lillehammer. Or take the train from Eidsvoll to Hamar and the Skibladner back to Eidsvoll. The Eidsvoll Building and Wergeland's House are a fifteen-minute drive from Bjerknes, and you can drive a few kilometers to the emerald mines at Byrud Farm.

Bicycle rental

We have bicycles for rent for those who want to cycle the Mjøstråkk between Hamar and Eidsvoll. The bicycles can be picked up and delivered within walking distance of Eidsvoll station, at Hamar station, or with us at Minnesund. Here at Minnesund, you can also park your car for free as long as you rent a bicycle.

The Vormstråkk, which goes down to Eidsvoll, is also a nice alternative.

Price: NOK 400 for one day – NOK 100 per extra day.

The bicycles can be picked up and delivered at Hamar, Eidsvoll, and Minnesund (at Minnesund, you can park for free).

Let us know, and we will arrange a bicycle for you. If the entire Mjøstråkk is too much, you can take the train to Hamar, pick up the bicycle there, and cycle to us or to Eidsvoll station/Skibladner pier.

Skulerud motohome place

Skulerud motorhome Parking is located in the northern part of the Halden Canal in Aurskog-Høland municipality.

Skulerud is a great starting point for your journey through the Halden Canal.

Skulerud was formerly an important junction between the "Tertitten" railway and the Halden Canal.

In collaboration with the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage, Skulerud motorhome parking is part of a larger project to restore the Skulerud station area, including the re-establishment of approximately 700 meters of railway track. On-site, you can see the locomotive shed, which has been restored to its original condition. Skulerud station was the terminus for the Tertitten Railway, a narrow-gauge tertiary line that ran between Skulerud and Sørumsand. Outside the locomotive shed, the turntable has been restored. Here, the locomotive would be turned around before heading back to Sørumsand.

The motorhome parking is situated between the charming locomotive shed and the local "Lokstallen". Facilities include electricity, drinking water, toilets, and waste disposal for toilet cassettes.

In Lokstallen next to the motorhome parking, there is a summer café throughout July, as well as regular concerts during the summer season.

Price 250 NOK per day. Electricity is included in the price.

Accommodation for 21 people in 8 double rooms (can accommodate a double bed or two single beds) and 5 single rooms

Are you arranging a confirmation, wedding, memorial service, anniversaries or company party / Christmas table. We have a nice function room for approx. 40 people inside, outdoor tent 3x6m can be set up by appointment.

Ramton Camping

Guest marina, If you arrive by boat you can dock at the guest pier. Please note the wether condition as the pier is vulnerable to the wind.

Summer Activities, In good tradition we arrange pier dance every Saturday. On Fridays we arrange troubadour evenings, karaoke and bingo.

Ramton Golf, We hava a 9-hole pitch and putt course. The new courses have their own driving range and practice area.

Concerts, Every Saturday from midsummer to the end of July we organize pier dance, often with famous dance bands. Here there is room for everyone who wants a good summer.

The sandy beach, The campsite has a large and nice sandy beach well organized for both adults and children. Here by the Oslo fjord you can enjoy your summer days

Recreational Activities, With us you can choose from many different recreational activities such as tennis, mini golf, football, walk along the coastal path or how about a fishing trip?

History, The summer 1931, the first tip tents were set up. Today Ramton Camping is a modern camping site run by the 7.generasjon of Ramton.

WonderInn Shepherd’s Hut – Boho

Welcome to Boho, our newest accommodation at WonderInn Riverside! Built as an old school Shepherds hut on wheels, the hut blends into the farm atmosphere and offers a unique and luxurious way to experience farm life.

The hut is equipped with its own luxurious copper bathtub and toilet, a kitchenette with cooking plates and a microwave, a small wood stove and a comfortable double bed. The outdoor area has a wood fire pit with cooking plates for grilling, and a cozy seating area. The cabin overlooks the fields and forests; there is a high chance to spot packs of small deer (especially if you are an early riser!) 

Included in the stay is also the unique mirrored sauna at the riverside, where you can book a time to enjoy the views over the river alone with your partner – and finish the session with a refreshing swim in the river! 

On the farm, we have free range chickens (who are more than happy to pay you a visit, so keep the door closed!), 3 cute Shetlands ponies and 4 funny and friendly alpacas. We have a canoe and bicycles you can borrow during your stay.
