Jordbærbua is located in the countryside around 10 minutes from the center of Drøbak and has over the years become a well-known and beloved place for many. In 1975, Bibi and Magnus Saxebøl started Follo's first strawberry production, today their strawberries are the very taste of summer for the locals.

In 1988, his son Per Fredrik took over. operation together with Stine. During the strawberry season, the main sales take place directly from Jordbærbua. Like everything else, strawberry varieties also evolve. At Jordbærbua you will find the traditional varieties, but also new and exciting varieties. Jordbærbua is run as a team, here there are many people who contribute so that the strawberries get from farm to table in the shortest possible time.

At Saxebølbær in Jordbærbua you will also find vegetables, honey, eggs and potatoes from local producers including Haneborg farm.

The winery and rasberry producer Bringebærlandet is located just outside Drøbak, about half an hour's drive south of Oslo.

The good soil and lots of sun makes the raspberries thrive. Here you can buy raspberries straight from the field, but also honey and our award-winning raspberry wine. It is also possible to book a wine tasting tour.

The farm shop is open every day from 10-18 during the picking season, and a couple of days a week the rest of the year.

Six kilometers of raspberry hedges

Roy and Åse-Marit, the owners of Bringebærlandet, planted their first hedges in 2009 and now have about 25 acres, or 6 kilometers of raspberry hedges. They operate conventionally, but are keen to cultivate as environmentally friendly as possible.

A vineyard, 60 degrees north

In 2016, Bringebærlandet started with the production and sale of raspberry wine. The feedback was so positive that they decided to invest in it. Now they produce two types of dessert wines, a sparkling wine and raspberry mead.

Tour and wine tasting

Would you like a pleasant experience off the beaten track? Then a visit to Bringebærlandet with a tasting of our award-winning wines is right up your alley. Bring your wine club, group of friends or colleagues and sit around the table in the old pig house where the wine production takes place. Taste and enjoy, listen and learn about what it's like to run a vineyard at 60 degrees north. The event is suitable for groups of up to 10 people. The price is NOK 550. per person. It includes the tasting of four wines; a sparkling wine made using the traditional method, a classic dessert wine, an ice wine made from frozen raspberry must, as well as a raspberry mead fermented with honey. ABOUT THE FARM

City people that became farmers: Sander Nordstuen Gård is run by Tone Bech and Magne Stenersen. We had no experience with farm operations when we fell in love with this old small farm. We left Oslo and our jobs as chef and auxiliary nurses respectively 6 years ago. We have no regrets, and the more we learn, the more busy we become by running the farm using organic and regenerative methods. We want to make short-traveled and pure organic food that taste fantastic.

Co-operative agriculture: Part of the operation takes place as co-operative farming, under the name Eidsvoll Co-operative Agriculture.

Organic and Sustainable Agriculture: We operate a diverse, small-scale agriculture based on ecological and regenerative methods, and with great respect and love for our animals. Our vegetables are grown with "no-dig" and low-till techniques. We have been certified organic through Debo for several years. (Debio controls and approves organic production in Norway) This year, 2019, we have not maintained the formal Debio certification. This is mainly because this year we are restructuring parts of our operations. It is quite possible that we will resume approval already next year.

Welcome to us!
