Smakfulle Event – climbing Park – Sørum – conference activities

The Hotel Smakfulle Rom and Høyt & Lavt Lillestrøm has for several years welcomed business groups for meetings with accommodation and parties in the beautiful converted barn.

The desire for climbing, dinner and fun in the park has also been increasing. We will continue with this.

From this year, this is managed through Smakfulle Event.

Our own event company with the park, surrounding forest, fields and Smakfulle Rom as a arena. We focus our expertise on companies on the events side and in combination with the knowledge that everything lies in the park and at Smakfulle Rom, we hope to give our customers an even better overall experience. Now we offer meeting facilities, team building, varied activities, dinner, entertainment, VIP event and transport to and from in a wonderful total package.

All you have to do is show up and enjoy the day. Great outdoor areas, a beautiful house with well-thought-out details in every room and quiet surroundings also provide good settings for product launches and TV and film recordings.

Scandic Brennemoen

Scandic Brennemoen is one of Østfold's largest conference hotels. The hotel is only 45 min. from Oslo by car have good connections by bus and train. The express bus from Oslo to Mysen stops at the hotel. We arrange everything for small day meetings for larger conferences and kick offs.

The hotel offers 100 beautiful and newly renovated rooms accommodating over 200 people. We have a modern fitness room that can be used free of charge by all our guests. The hotel has large outdoor areas at the forest edge where you can perform many exciting activities. There will be a large climbing tower near the hotel which can be used for activities. Large outdoor parking with several charging stations for electric cars.

The hotel offers a variety of outdoor activities. Here you can perform team building activities, nature trails, barbecues etc. There is room for a large tent in the parking lot. Just outside the door you will find many free parking spaces as well as electric car packing.

The hotel is 10 min. from Østfoldbadet which is a great experience center. The hotel is 5 min. from Momarken race track and 20 min. by car from Rudskogen motor center.

Scandic Brennemoen are pet-friendly and have 12 hotel rooms reserved for pets for an additional NOK 200 per night.

Wood Hotel in Brumunddal – stay at the world's tallest timber building
Wood Hotel, in the world's tallest timber building, stretches an impressive 86 metres above ground level, and has 18 floors and 72 hotel rooms.

Gamlebyen Hotel

Gamlebyen Hotell is located in the venerable Graffgården, in the Old Town. The hotel has 16 cozy rooms, all differently decorated, each with its own personal style and high living standard. All rooms have been recently refurbished and is equipped with TV and free Wifi. Breakfast buffet is served at VÆRK just around the corner.

The hotel offers its own suite – the Holberg Suite – with a full kitchen and seating area for about 12 people adjacent to the hotel, as well as the unique Raadhus stable on Kongens Torv. The suite is of a high standard with unique details. The Raadhus stable is rented out in collaboration with Elisabeth Gyllensten & Geir Stahl – owners of "The old Raadhus with stable building" – in 1767. Guests who live here have almost the entire building at their disposal and can freely use a cozy backyard.

The Raadhus stable has been restored in close collaboration with the city antiquarian and county conservator and contains: main bedroom and bathroom in the stable on the 1st floor, fully equipped kitchen and living room on the 2nd floor in the old loft, and an additional bedroom. A total of four beds – and 85 sqm with spacious space.

In Plussgården, Gamlebyen Hotell offers two new meeting rooms, one with space for 12 and a slightly smaller one with space for 8. Both have new modern equipment for hybrid meetings and an associated break room with the option of serving lunch and break food.

Local food from Café Søstuen
Food is history and can tell you a lot about the area you're in, so we take this very seriously. That's why we've opened a café that's open at weekends in the summer. Café Søstuen is idyllically located by Lake Gjesåssjøen, within walking distance of the cabins, close to the Gjesåssjøen nature reserve with its bustling bird life.

Local and organic produce is on the menu, and there is also a small farm shop in the same building. Through PAN and Café Søstuen, we collaborate with a selection of local businesses and small-scale producers who think the same way we do. Together, we want to preserve local traditions and focus on healthy food that tastes good and is the result of low-impact food production.

We also rent out the café as a meeting room outside opening hours and welcome companies and larger groups all year round.

 

The Well Spa and Hotel

Breivoll Farm

Nature and hiking trails
Around Breivoll you will find a coastal path along the fjord, a cultural trail through a fairy tale forest, blue-marked forest trails, swimming areas and large lawns. The area has protected oak trees and rich birdlife, and is suitable for both short child-friendly walks and longer walks along the coast and in the forest.

Activities and kayaking
Here you can rent a kayak, and join organized paddling trips and courses during the summer season.
The open outdoor areas invite you to play, ball games, barbecue areas, lavvoer and low-threshold outdoor activities for all ages.

Meeting and event locations
Breivoll Farm has several meeting and event rooms in different sizes and styles, suitable for everything from small gatherings to larger events with a capacity of up to approx. 80 guests. The hosts prepare the food in their own kitchen, and the menu is adapted to suit the event.

Accommodation and accessibility
The modernized barn has 28 beds in classic DNT style, plus 20 hammock spaces in one large room. We can accommodate about 50 overnight guests. It is also possible to stay outside. The area is well-equipped with step-free access, disabled toilets and wheelchair-friendly walking paths.

Hoel Gård hosts many large companies and gatherings, but you are just as welcome as an overnight guest on your own. Enjoy the peace, stroll in the avenue, take a dip in Mjøsa, eat a better dinner in stately surroundings and sleep well in one of our charming rooms.

Get up for a hearty farm breakfast, go for a run in the countryside, or rent a bike and take a trip around Helgøya. We also lend kayaks, rowing boats and canoes, so it is possible to explore our own little island outside the farm or the surrounding area.

SHORTEST WAY FROM THE FIELD TO YOUR TABLE
We never take shortcuts in the kitchen, except when it comes to the ingredients. The chefs use what the farm and the surrounding area have to offer, from potatoes, barley and chicken to rhubarb and grapes from the garden. Otherwise, we choose the best Norwegian ingredients from Norways top shelf. Regardless of whether you want an intimate lunch for 6 people or a large party with 160 guests, we guarantee that the food is prepared in our kitchen, with delicious flavors.

BATH HOUSE, SAUNA AND HOT TUB
Right down by the water's edge and Mjøsa as our nearest neighbour, you will find our bathhouse, located in connection with our bathing jetty. Offering peace and well-being, this house offers a fireplace lounge for relaxation and quality time with the lapping of waves right outside the door. The house is inspired by an old summer barn that stood there in the 19th century, and the remains of an old potato flour factory have been used in the project. The building was completed in autumn 2024, and was designed by architect Geir Dingstad at BASE Arkitekter. The interior designer is Corniche Interiørdesign.

The sauna adjacent to the bathhouse is inspired by the farm's own potato cellar and resembles a built-in vault/cave that blends perfectly into the terrain. The sauna connects you closely to nature and Mjøsa. Treat yourself to a delicious and relaxing time by the water's edge. After some time in the sauna, it is refreshing to have a delicious bath in Mjøsa followed by a good and warm experience in our outdoor hot tub. The bath house, sauna and hot tub are available to all guests, but must be booked in advance.
