M/S Elvekongen charter

M/S Elvekongen is a passenger boat that operates scheduled and charter cruises throughout the summer season on the rivers Glomma and Vorma.

The usual starting point is Årnes Brygge, and the most popular option is a three-hour trip from Årnes, up the Vorma through Svanfoss lock, and back again. Charter trips can be customized according to the customer's wishes and needs, with the only limitations being Rånåsfoss and Funnefoss on the Glomma. Up the Vorma, we can go all the way to Lillehammer if desired. The cruise on the rivers takes you through beautiful cultural landscapes, passing by Nes Church Ruins, and experiencing the Svanfoss sluse which was reopened in 1993.

The boat can accommodate 50 passengers and is designed for river cruises, with plenty of space on the sun deck, a parasol over the aft deck, and a furnished lounge. We have all necessary licenses, and food can also be served and ordered in advance.

You can rent the whole park or parts of it, or the attractions you want to try. If you rent the park exclusively, you can profile the company in an exciting way. This is a unique opportunity to host an unforgettable event.

Do you want to invite people for professional training or entertainment? The stage in the park and marquees in different sizes are available for up to 1,600 guests.

Family day

If your intention is to gather family, host a company event, kick-off or summer party, we will find the best solution for you. TusenFryd is a family park, which offers unique experiences for the whole family!

A Family Day can be adapted to a particular event based on your wishes. The event may take place during or outside opening hours. Parts of the park or the park in its entirety can berented out there is a large group of people. Or use our Humørbilletter and invite your guest for a delicious barbecue.

Use our marquee located in a separate area of the park. The marquee has ample room and many options for serving food, activities, showcasing and presentations. Aquavit Distillery Tour & Tasting

Visit Anora and experience the taste, history, traditions and production of Norwegian Aquavit.

Upon arrival at the distillery, a professional from the house will welcome you. During the distillery tour, you will gain in-depth knowledge on how Aquavit acquires its unique flavours from the selection of botanicals, through distillation techniques and to the final maturation.

Cask maturation of Aquavit is unique to Norway. From the balcony in the impressive warehouse you will enjoy the view of 8000 oak barrels maturing various Aquavits from six months up to twelve years. They even mature an Aquavit in cask on deck of a ship crossing the Equator twice during a four months journey.

The tour ends with a tutored tasting of Aquavit in unique surroundings.

Vikingegarden Maurenga AS

Vikingegarden Maurenga is situated approx. 2 km west of Gardermoen. The building, interior and food, etc., are all based on the Viking theme.

Langhuset (the long house) seating up to 80 is ideal for meetings, courses and functions. We can provide activities in the courtyard and surrounding counrtyside. Vikingegarden also caters for school trips, where the focus is on learning through participation.

We will show you the beatifull costline of the Oslofjord and tell you stories from the war in 1940. Interesting and funny. High speed and slow cruising. The tour will take approximately 1,5 hour. It is a safe and comfortable tour.
