Drøbak is one of the country's most idyllic coastal towns, with small, charming wooden houses of great heritage value and plenty for children to experience.
Start the day in Badeparken, either with a swim or a visit to the architect-designed playground. Velhaven, located by the Bankløkka parking lot, also has a very nice playground in the town's little oasis.
Drøbak is also the town where the Norwegian Santa Claus has his official post address, so a visit to Tregaardens Christmas House is a highlight.
In Drøbak harbor, you'll find Drøbak Aquarium, which showcases the rich marine life of the Oslo Fjord up close. Here, you'll see everything from small baby sharks to Hugo the wolffish.
You can also ask to borrow crab fishing equipment from the Tourist Information if you want to try that. When you get hungry, there are many restaurants and cafes to choose from, and for dessert, the ice cream at Café Drøbak is very popular.
Tour facts:
How to get there: Bus or car to Drøbak center
Hike length: Optional
Local tip: Visit the only saltwater aquarium in Eastern Norway and explore the exciting underwater life of the Oslo Fjord. The Christmas House is also a popular stop for children!
Losby Gods is a great starting point for many trips in the summer; walking, jogging and cycling.
We would like to give you some suggestions for trips in Losby's deep forests and Østmarka's exciting nature. The suggested tours are mostly on forest roads or footpaths, the dotted lines show paths. These paths are blue-marked, and the number of km is indicated on the map.
The times estimated in the descriptions do not include time for stops/breaks, but only the time it takes to walk or cycle the route.
REMEMBER; Blue markings are summer trails. Red markings are cross country skiing trails for winter.
Over several centuries, Losby Gods has been the center for exciting excursions, activities and good food and drink for visiting guests. Feel free to take the opportunity to eat something good here before or after the trip. In the Losby Pavilion, they can tempt you with homemade buns, freshly baked waffles, coffee, soft drinks, ice cream and chocolate. If you want more food, grilled hamburgers and sausages are served after 12.00.
Horseback tour riding
We welcome you on horseback rides for young and old. Basic riding skills are an advantage as we ride in rough terrain for parts of the trip. If you are new to this, you can bring a tenant if you wish. We plan the trip according to level and wishes. See Facebook Rånås Gård for more information and booking.

All riding, and horse care is at your own risk!

The trip to Kopperudtoppen, which is located in Hasleråsen, is suitable for everyone, and at the top you can enjoy the view both from the new tower that has been erected and take a break in the beautiful gapahuk.
Park at the old Hasler garden. The trip is about 3 km each way. You can also walk from Finstad by Løkenvangen, via paths from Nes or via blue markings on the light trail from Ullensaker nord.
Kopperudtoppen is the highest point in Ullensaker, 313 m above sea level, in the very north of the municipality, up to the border with Eidsvoll
Nipkollen is 544 meters above sea level in Nannestad municipality, at the top there is a view to the north and west. There is a blue-marked path right up to the top, it can be a bit far between the markings in some places. The first 2 km is a steady climb and you walk on a good path all the way.
To get there take the E16 towards Gardermoen and Hønefoss, take the exit towards Maura and drive through Maura and up towards Nordåsen, turn in at Rema1000 and Esso. After 1.5 km there is a roundabout (turning place for the bus), turn right at the roundabout where you will find a small car park at the top of Holkebylia. It might be a good tip to enter Kløvberget Terrasse on the GPS.
After parking, return to the roundabout and follow the road 50 m back down, the walk starts at the edge of the forest on the right. You see a sign for Nipkollen, which is in the forest next to the residential buildings there.
You won't regret the altitude gain when you reach the top, it pays off in the form of a fantastic view!
Do you like hiking?
Mistberget is a peak in Eidsvoll municipality , located 663 meters above sea level . Although it´s only 663 meters , the view from the top is one of the finest views in the OsloRegion.
The road up is not long , about 3 km walk from the meeting point parking space at Oppsaleng – but it is recommend to wear good shoes and bring you some water – because it is a demanding hike.
At the top it stands a 16 -meter high old fire watch tower , and from this you can see over large parts of Romerike and into the neighboring counties.
Getting there: E6 past Nebbenes . Take the road 181 towards Hobart ( first exit after Nebbenes if you come from the south) . Follow Road 181 about 1 km. Turn right and follow signs to Åsleia . Drive further north and uphill about 3.5 km.
Have a nice trip!
