Cottage Trulsrudkollen

The hut is i situated at Trulsrudkollen with spectacular view during the day and in the evening. Enjoy the tranquility of the forest, the starry sky and at the same time glimpse the lights of the city in far distance.

The cabin is excellent for a couple, a small group of friends or if you are looking for closeness to nature all by yourself. The cabin is booked online and through Inatur, see the link at the bottom of the description.

Facilities:

Cozy log cabin with 3-5 beds.

Living room with dining table and room for 6 people.

Kitchen with stove top (4 gas burners), bunk oven, small gas fridge and sink.

Bedroom with bunk bed, where lower bunk (120X200) can be used as a double bed. The upper bunk is 80 cm wide. In the living room, you can sleep on a bunk bed (70X200) and in a cozy pull-out bed (80X160), where children can easily fall asleep in the evening.

The cabin has a large 3-bay window with a view to the south, a 2-bay window facing the view to the east, a 2-bay kitchen window to the west and a 2-bay bedroom window to the north. All windows are double and small-paned.

The annex is located directly behind the main house and has been recently renovated and furnished (summer and autumn 2023). It is possible to rent the annex with up to 4 extra beds, in addition to the main cabin. The annex has a family bunk, where the lower bunk is 120X200 and the upper bunk is 80X200. The sleeping area is 70X230.

Directly behind the cabin is an untouched forest that is an eldorado for children ("adventure forest"). Here there is a rich bird and animal life, with good opportunities to find mushrooms and berries for those who search during the summer season…

Guest have to bring bed sheets and drinking water. Outdoor toilet. Guest are requested to tidy and clean the hut upon departure.

Winter garden – Mjøsli cabins and Nature Park

Vinterhagen is our brand new and unique accommodation. It is located in Mjøsli, 30 minutes from Oslo Airport Gardermoen and 1 hour's drive From Oslo.

In Vinterhagen you can enjoy nature and at the same time have all the comforts around you. The cabin is fully equipped with most of what you need. There are beds made up for up to 2 people. This uniqueroom faces west with a private and sunny terrace. Wi-fi with fiber and fast internet. There is a lovely view of Mjøsa.

In the area you will have plenty opportunities to be active both summer and winther.

Blueberry – The hanging treehouse

News – A unique accommodation.
A hidden hanging blueberry, a tree-top tent, not far from Oslo – approx. 40 minutes.

As a guest, you get the opportunity to sleep in Blueberry, an exclusive, hidden treetop tent in the forest. You get the opportunity to participate in the life on a small farm. Whether you want to enjoy the silence, go for a walk in the forest, pick your own eggs for breakfast, or join in looking after our miniature animals, we have something to offer for everyone who wants to be closer to Norwegian nature.

The place

The blueberry is shaped like a ball that hangs in the forest behind their farm. It hangs 3-4 meters from the ground with access via a ladder. It is unique in Norway and offers a different experience where you feel the movements of the trees. It is designed and installed by engineers and wood specialists.

Inside Blåbæret there is 1 double and 1 single bed.

In the summer, the wooden tent has insect netts on all windows and the door. You have a private solar-heated shower as well as a private composting toilet on the ground. Other facilities include an outdoor food preparation area including a gas grill and necessary plates and cutlery.

For winter use, the treetent is insulated and there is a small wood stove for cozy stays in colder weather. In winter, you also have access to a private indoor shower and kitchen. The modern composting toilet at the wooden tent also works well in winter.

What do you have access to as a guest?
The farm is about 90 acres and lies on the border of a large undeveloped forest area. As their guest, you have easy access to the forest, barn, pastures, garden and outdoor areas.

Other things worth knowing

They have a variety of livestock from mini horses, mini donkeys and mini goats, to chickens, dogs and cats. They will show you how to handle the animals safely.
Since tha cabin is up in the trees, altitude, they have an age limit of 10 years.
It has USB ports for charging phones and indoor lighting.

Mjøsli cabins and Nature Park

Welcome to Mjøsli Lodge – one hour from Oslo

We welcome companies and private groups to Mjøsli Lodge. With a magnificent view of Mjøsa and immediate access to the wilderness, this is an excellent place for smaller groups who want to relax and experience Norway in beautiful surroundings only 30 minutes from Oslo Airport.

Mjøsli is located 3 km above Strandlykkja in Stange. The surrounding area offers great hiking and cycling opportunities. Nearby there are several forest waters with good fishing opportunities or taking a refreshing bath.

In total we offer 15 rooms and 30 beds. The guests at the lodge dispose the whole house and outdoor area with big table and bonfire. In nice weather you can eat outside on the terrace, in warm sunshine or under a warm blanket.

New for this season – new Winter Garden for our guests. The winter garden can be rented for courses/conferences and parties for up to 20 guests. But it can also be a romantic overnight stay for two people or a small family.

FLO Haldencanal Watercourse

Waking up to fluttering waves and birds chirping? Welcome to FLO!

FLO is a unique floating accommodation. Designed to increase awareness of and interest in the beautiful nature of the Halden Canal. In the same way as the timber was transported via the waterway, FLO is dimensioned to be able to be channeled through the canal system. The location in the canal system may therefore vary from year to year.

Exhale, relax and experience art, culture, history and the beautiful nature along the Halden Canal! The Halden Canal is located southeast of Norway, right on the border with Sweden, and only a good hour from Oslo.

The Halden Canal is the older of the two canals in Norway. This exciting waterway stretches from Skulerud in the north to Tistedal in the south, almost 80 km. The Halden Canal is a special cultural monument, and in recent years the canal has been put in good condition so that you can now travel from north to south, and pass through three locks and five lakes on the way. There are many great experiences in and along the canal. Here you can paddle or drive a boat through idyllic lakes and impressive locks – in a beautiful landscape with many interesting cultural monuments. And here you can swim, fish, eat, experience art and culture, live and experience the beautiful nature!

And in the middle of this, you can spend the night in FLO. A unique floating accommodation.

About FLO
FLO is a floating accommodation installation in the Halden Canal designed by Strøm Arkitektur and Studio OSMA. The idea sprang from the concept idea Floating Lodge, which was developed by Snøhetta Architects for the Halden Canal some years ago. Godthullia in Frogn

Just 40 minutes from the city center of Oslo you will find Godthullia with two newly built, gorgeous, and modern holiday homes. The property is in a quiet area and can offer a panoramic view of the Oslo Fjord. With walking distance to the pier and local beaches you have good opportunities for recreation and a nice swim.

Both houses are well suited for both family and friends, as well as for smaller board- and management gatherings where a quiet environment and unity are important settings.

The houses

From the hallway there is access to the living room / dining room / kitchen in an open solution, with extra good ceiling height and large windows that give the room a bright and good atmosphere. Here you can gather for nice meals with family and friends or use it as a meeting room for small groups. Exit from the living room on to a large, partially covered, terrace that extends along the entire front of the holiday home. Inside there are three good siced bedrooms and two modern, tiled bathrooms on the 1st floor. One bathroom is connected to the master bedroom, which is equipped with sliding doors and ceiling-high windows to the west and the fjord view.

There is Wi-Fi access and the possibility to charge an electric car.

Other things worth noting

Both Kolonial.no and Meny Drøbak Amfi offer food delivery at the door. If catering or cooking services are desired, Golf-restauranten.no can be recommended.

For the purchase of goods, the Vinterbro shopping center is suitable if you come driving from Oslo. Alternatively, Drøbak has a rich selection of shops.

Tretoppdome – Treetophouse / treehouse

Are you looking for a unique experience? A unique place to bring someone you love? Or maybe just looking for a beautiful place to find yourself in peace of mind? Yes….. then you should read on.

In Rakkestad, Joakim has built a very special place approx. 3 km into the forest and up in the trees.Here you can enjoy a good book, look at the stars, listen to the tree tops and bird singing. Imagine sitting in the woods in the trees and just enjoying the tranquility of the forest.

The wooden top cabin is located in the forest between Rakkestad and Aremark. Not far away from Linnekleppen lookout tower which is a popular hiking destination. Another place not far away is the idyllic Strømsfoss if you want to experience something more in the immediate surroundings. Or there are several nice walking opportunities in the local area.

The cabin / treehouse can accommodate 2 people and consists of:

The perfect starting point to experience the Constitution Center of Norway.

The property is idyllically sheltered from the streets up towards "Sundtoppen" with its own garden area and large terrace. It is still less than a minute's walk down to the streets where you will find all facilities.

From Gardermoen it is only 9 minutes by train (3 times an hour), a short walk over the old bridge "Sundbrua" (7 min walk), then you have arrived at the house. With a view of historic Eidsvoll station, and just a few meters from the jetty to the world's oldest operating paddle boat "Skibladner", you can enjoy your holiday in Henrik Wergeland's footsteps in the old part of Eidsvoll. The House of Constitution here in Norway is also only a short drive (or train) away.

The house has a first and a second floor.
On the first floor you will find a kitchen and living room, as well as a dining area as a part of the kitchen. There is also a fireplace in this area. There is also an office on the first floor which is initially closed off but can be reserved if required. On the second floor you will find two bedrooms, a toilet room, an attic living room with access to a screened terrace with a view over Vorma, Gamle Eidsvoll Station, Skibladner etc.
