If you want to cycle the entire Mjøstråkk or the alternative between Hamar and Eidsvoll by train one of the roads. The bikes are picked up and delivered within walking distance to Eidsvoll train station, at Hamar station or with us at Minnesund. Here at Minnesund you can also park your car for free as long as you rent a bike.

Kulturhistorisk sykkelrute
This route proposal will take you past places such as Eidsvoll Building, Tingvollen / Eidsvoll Church and Bygdetunet. The route runs through some of Eidsvolls finest cultural landscape, and you'll also see the woodlands with the possibilities for bathing and fishing.
Route description:
Start and end point: Eidsvoll station
Distance: approx. 30 km
Start on the road side of the station, follow the cycle / path on the left under RV 181, and follow the old hollow road up Eidsvollbakken towards Eidsvoll church and Tingvollen. Continue past the church and exit the walk / cycle road along RV 181. Follow this past Ås primary school and until the roundabout on Trondheimsvegen. Turn right across the bridge towards Åsleia and Eidsvoll Bygdetun. After 200 meters turn left onto a gravel road and follow this past the building team, over E6 and further inwards. A visit to the building team is recommended. After about 3 km you will meet another gravel road. Here you turn left and follow this road past the Spetalen and into the Krafttjernet (bathing and fishing possibilities)
Instead of turning left to the building, you can follow the asphalt road through Åsleia (beautiful cultural landscape and nice view). After about 3 km turn left towards Spetalen and meet the main window after about 1 km.
Continue through the boom at Krattjernen. After a few hundred meters you reach Byfellavegen. Turn left and follow Byfellavegen until you reach the Hurdalsvegen at Langton. Now turn left and follow the asphalt road along the Hurdals lake (very good swimming possibilities) and further up to the crossing of the E6 at Ormlia. Here you continue the walking / cycling road along Hurdalsvegen right up to Eidsvoll Verk. Cross Trondheimsvegen, turn left after the sports shop and follow Fossumvegen (FV 506.03). After 2 km you will reach Dønnumskia (FV 506.01). Turn left and follow this back to RV 181 at Vegamot. Turn right and continue back to the starting point.
Hike Nesset to Hvervenbukta
There is a bus to Nesset, at the bottom of the Bunnefjord, and from there you follow the road and signs in the direction of Breivoll. Nesset was a lively and important hub in Follo from the end of the last century when the steamboats transported travellers from all over Follo to the capital. Breivoll Gård is a beautiful green area with a farm café, kayak rental, DNT accommodation and a popular hiking area with potholes and a sandy beach and a number of activities are arranged on weekends. The forest here alternates between rich deciduous forests, low-herb forests with lots of hazel and shrunken pine forests on the hills, and there are many important vegetation types as well as a rich wildlife.
Continue past the beach north to the right on the gravel road that takes you into the forest, past green pastures with horses and onto Strandveien past white-painted picket fences and cozy summer cottages. Old boathouses, boats and piers are close along the coastal path and there are nice places to take a break along the way and observe the rich bird life. Pass the marina along Kjæresveien before we slope steeply up to the right through the residential area and eventually come out onto Nebbaveien which is followed further.
Scheduled boat traffic on the fjord started in earnest in the 1860s, when steamships became more common and it took 1h15 minutes by boat from Oslo to Nesset at the bottom of the Bunnefjord. Nebba is one of the old steamship piers with nice benches. Follow the signs that now lead to the Sherpa stairs, which consist of 278 steps. This was done by hand with simple tools such as pickaxes, skewers, sledgehammers, hammers and chisels over the course of 18 working days and 300 tons of stone were used. The trip goes in steep terrain and is rewarded with a view of charming Sjødalstrand at the top.
The monks on Hovedøya ran salt extraction on Sjødalstrand and had a herb garden here. Wild herbaceous plants still grow wild here. Today, the place is characterized by the beautiful plum garden with local production of jams, chutneys and plum pies by hand according to traditional recipes.
The trip continues into the black forest towards Svartskog and eventually over into a paved road with dense spruce forest. Before embarking on the slopes down Roald Amundsen's road, you can continue straight ahead for about 100 meters and see if Svartskog kolonial is open on weekends. Homemade pastries and good coffee are served here.
The sculpture of Roald Amundsen with his dog stands majestically on the rocks with his gaze southwards, and to the right behind him is the entrance to Uranienborg. He is best known for leading the first expedition to arrive at the South Pole in the race with Scott. Here Roald Amundsen planned his expeditions and on the pier the polar ship FRAM was prepared before departure for the South Pole. His home is now a museum where guided tours are arranged in the summer and on weekends. The house was built in 1908 and stands exactly as he left it when he died in a plane crash in the Barents Sea while searching for his friend's expedition in 1928.
The trip continues through Amundsen's garden on a path and eventually onto Ingierstrandveien past beaches and older cabins. After Prosted, we turn off from the road and follow the marked path to the upper right – it can be a bit demanding and then follow the Line Path through the forest along the power line north to Ingierstrand.
Ingierstrand Bath is an icon in modern architectural history and was one of the two most important sea baths along the Oslo Fjord since its opening in 1934 and could have up to 120,000 visitors a season. Guests were transported by steamboat from the capital. Today it is a popular recreational area with diving towers, beach, rocks, grassy areas and beautiful pine trees in the hilly terrain.
You can continue the trip along the road to explore the popular beaches Sandbukta and Bestemorstranda – but we put the trip back up into the forest on the marked path to avoid the road. The path comes out on Ingierstrandveien again and we follow it to the junction and go down towards the sea over the river to Ljansbruket.
After rounding the promontory along the road to Hvervenbukta, follow Mastemyrveien under the E18 towards Kolbotn for return by bus or a stop at Quality Hotel Entry for a good meal or pleasant stay.

Biking in Vestmarka
The bike ride starts in Sandvika by the fjord and follows the Sandvik River over the Løkkebrua bridge. After a 4 km climb you reach Tanum Church, where the gravel road takes over and leads you through farmland to Ringi Farm – known for its apple juice and great views.
Further into Vestmarka you will encounter forests, lakes and new climbs. Furuholmen and Gupu Farm offer homemade food, and around Gupu there are shelters and campfire sites. Some parts can be rocky, but for the most part the gravel roads are good.
At Semsvannet you can swim on the small beach and eat homemade food at NaKuHel Smia or Bryggerhuset. At Øvre Sem Farm you can enjoy Sunday brunch, accommodation and a shop with local crafts. Bergvang Farm is nearby. Visit the animals at the open farm and café on weekends.
The tour ends in Asker, where you can cycle back to Sandvika, take the train back, or continue to the next farm tour through Lier.
Tour d’art – bicycle tour of Bærum
The tour starts at Aker's new headquarters at the intersection Fornebuveien / Snarøyveien. Take a look at the beautiful ceramic vases and art by Magne Furuholmen before cycling around Telenor Arena and down the underpass towards the old Air Tower Here in the cultural street you will find several galleries such as Flø and Jonny Hurts, Reko-deli shop with organic local dishes, Paprifly wine bar and Caravell restaurant, the curiosity "On Wheels" with exhibits of Vespa mopeds and Ferrari cars and the renowned Bærum Kunsthall with modern art in the old fire station.
Follow the cycle path towards the Expo/Telenor building under Snarøyveien. Straight ahead is Quality Hotel Expo and Engineerium, an interactive experience centre at Fornebu. Here you can explore natural phenomena, learn about different energy sources and the history of the Aker companies and the oil and gas adventure in Norway. Turn right towards Telenor, cross the courtyard while marveling at the columnar art of Daniel Burén and the "writing on the wall" of Jenny Holzer.Keep right on the cycle path along the fjord. You pass Equinor, a landmark at Fornebu – cycle up under the entrance and take a look at the installation on the roof. IT Fornebu, which is located in the old terminal building with frescoes painted by Kai Fjell, and Scandic Hotel Fornebu. Cycle back down to the cycle path. On the waterfront with great views is Sjøflyhavna Kro, known for its good hamburgers.
Turn left back to Aker's headquarters and follow Oksenøyveien to the left. After about 300 m turn right and quickly left and follow Michelet's road which goes over to Bjerkealleen. Follow it and turn right in Sarbuvollveien and turn left onto Sandviksveien. Follow this to the roundabout and turn left up to the Henie Onstad Art Center. Visit the coastal sculpture park with 30 sculptures by renowned artists. Henie Onstad is one of the country's leading museums of modern and contemporary art with changing exhibitions by famous artists and a large collection of contemporary art from Weidermann to Picasso.
The tour continues around Sandviksbukten towards Sandvika, follow the signs. In Sandvika there are several street art paintings under the bridges along the river, and beautiful sculptures along the river promenade that leads to Løkketangen. Løkke bridge, a cast iron bridge from 1829 that was made at the ironworks at Bærums Verk, has become famous thanks to the French painter Claude Monet who visited Sandvika in the winter of 1895. The bridge crosses the Sandvik river in idyllic surroundings at Løkkehaven. Follow the cycle path along Elias Smitsvei and Industriveien to Bjørnegårdsvingen and follow the road through the barrier up along Sandvikselven past Kalkmølla Kulturstasjon and up to Esso on Vøyenenga. Follow the hiking trail to the right under the motorway and signs to Bærums Verk. Turn right on to the wooden bridge over the river and left up Vangkroken by the waterfall. Follow the road a little and keep right on the hiking trail along the river. Follow the hiking trail along the river all the way to Bærums Verk (the last part follows the road).
Explore the artist galleries at Bærums Verk and the sculpture park with more than 30 sculptures from Norway's foremost sculptors. Bærums Verk has around 50 shops, galleries and restaurants. Verksgata, which among other things consists of old workers' houses from the 1700s, is open 7 days a week all year round, here you will find forges, glassblowers, silversmiths, galleries, delicacies and local food, the chocolate house, several restaurants and unique shops. Værtshuset at Bærums Verk is Norway's oldest inn. It serves exquisite lunch and dinner with emphasis on Norwegian home cooking and is well worth a visit.
The return to Oslo is by cycle path over Steinshøgda towards Bekkestua to Øverland Gård. Follow the old royal road to the left – Ankerveien from Øverland towards Fossum. The tour goes along Haga Golf Course. Then follow Griniveien over Røa down towards Smestad and keep right on the path crossing over the metro line on to John Smestads vei and continue over the junction down Monolittveien until you meet Vigeland Park. Continue through Frogner Park past the Monolith, across the bridge and to the exit at Kirkeveien. Return to the starting point through Oslo's charming streets.

LYSAKER AND THE FORNEBU PENNINSULA
From Lysaker station, around the Fornebu penninsula and back to Lysaker
From Lysaker station, follow the signs under the motorway to Lysaker Brygge. Follow along the pier – here there are restaurants and shops. Eventually, it changes to a path on the edge of the beach. There is a nice bathing area at Fornebubukta. The beautiful hiking trails pass Telenor and at the spectacular Equinor building there is art at the entrance and around the building. Continue to Sjøflyhavna kro, which serves both outside and inside. There is a long history of aviation at Fornebu and the first seaplanes took off from here in 1939. The main airport was eventually moved to Gardermoen, but the seaplanes still taxi in to the old seaplane harbour.
The tour continues past the homes in Rolfsbukta and up to the Rolfstangen bathing area. At Halden brygge there is a beautiful rock, jetty and beach kiosk. The narrow hiking trail continues along the bathhouses and towards Hundsund. Out on Snarøya is the Ivo Caprino film center. The classic puppet films such as Flåklypa Grand Prix and Karius and Baktus were made here. The center is not open to visitors. Along the Hundsund and Koksa bays there are nice hiking trails. Hundsund Bad, which is an indoor swimming pool, is also located here. Through the Koksa Nature Reserve, the path goes through small forest before it ends at Storøyodden. Here there is a large, nice swimming beach, benches and a kiosk. Storøya Bird Tower is close by and is worth taking in.
On Lilleøyodden there is a nature reserve and a cemetery that is very special and beautifully designed. At Lilløyplassen naturhus you can learn about the animal and plant life in the immediate area and is a great destination for a Sunday walk. If you walk on the small footpaths, the seaplanes will suddenly appear, where they are moored at piers down by the water. On the way back is Oksenøya Bruk, which dates from the Middle Ages. There has been farming and horticulture here. During the war there was a prison camp here. Today, OBOS is responsible for the development of the area. Footpaths and cycle paths take you on to Nansenparken with its ponds, rest areas and common areas and on to Bærum Kunsthall. At the old Flight tower there is today a cafe. In the quarter around Aker are Imprints; a ceramic sculpture park with the largest collection of ceramic works in Scandinavia today. The last stop before Lysaker is Polhøgda; the home of the famous polar explorer Fridtjof Nansen which is today the office of the Fridtjof Nansen Institute. The large garden, where i.a. Nansen's grave is located, is open to the public.

Opplev Sørum på sykkel
The route starts from Frogner, and from here the trip goes through a varied and attractive cultural landscape centrally in Romerike. You pass large and small farms on the tour where livestock are grazing and grain in the field waving in the wind. At Lørenfall you can discover burial mounds. Eventually you approach Glomma, which has attractive hiking areas along Bingsfosstranda, Bingen lenses and, not least, the place where the old stubble boat, Sørumbåten was found. After crossing the river at Sørumsand, the distance is short to Blaker Skanse and the information center at Rånåsfoss Kraftstasjon.
Route description:
Follow RV 171 from Frogner towards Sørumsand. One kilometer after Lørenfall you turn right at Sørum school and will soon arrive Sørum church. Continue on to Hammeren, and Glomma will revealed it self, and you will soon find the spot for the founding of the Stokkeboat by the river bank. Here you can also see Bingen Lenser. After a short return, you can easily take the road to Sørumsand via Bingengården. On Sørumsand, the Tertitten train and carriages will be visible in the center of the city center.
From Sørumsand, continue the trip along RV 171 to Blaker. At the Shell station turn left and see Blaker Church. Turn right at the church and you come straight onto Blaker Skanse. From Blaker Skanse you can reach straight to Blaker Station. Take north along the county road to Rånåsfoss, where the power station is located. After the visit you cycle over the old hammock and up to the national road. Here you can either take RV 173 back to Lørenfallet and Frogner, or north towards Nes and then west towards Ullensaker and Kløfta. If you choose Kløfta, you first ride to the Motop, take the gravel road to the left
Her, turn left again and enter the asphalt road at Ormstad. Here you turn right and arrive after 3 km onto Kongsvingervegen at Ingjerdsmyr. From here to Kløfta it is approx. 8 km west.

Join to collect trim points. Lommedalen Idrettslag arranges "Over Skog og Hei" in the period April-October 2021 and invites everyone to get out and use the great hiking opportunities in the area. Posts have been placed in Bærumsmarka and Kroksskogen. The mix of destinations should are suitable for everyone. Both easy hikes and more demanding ones for those who want a real challenge. Participation is completely free. Great prizes are drawn at the end of the season.

Landeveisrunde mellom Jessheim og Kløfta
A leisurely bike ride in the cultural landscape of Romerike, between Kløfta and Jessheim.
The trip is a total of just over 2 miles. A few km of high traffic load are included in the trail.
Route description:
From Kløfta station, turn left onto Trondheimsveien when standing with your back towards the station building. Turn left at the roundabout and follow Kongsvingerveien over E6 to Ullensaker church. If you want a look along the walls of Ullersmo National Prison, take Ullersmoveien to the right after passing the railway exit, and Ilevegen to the left back to Kongsvingerveien.
Just after the bridge over the E6 there is an old venue on the left side, Galgeberg. No visible traces of business today. On the right is Miklagard Golf.
Turn left down the hill past Ullensaker church. This church, also known as the Roman Empire, was built in 1958 after the old burned, and was designed by Arnstein Arneberg. Just a mile past the church, turn right into the Løken Cross, towards Flatby and Hamar. Turn left at Flatby Cross to Myrhus and Hamar. Follow the Rambydalsvegen north through the Rambydalen. After passing the residential area on Flatbyseter, turn left, Old Algarheimsvei, which passes through the residential areas and onto Algarheims road towards Jessheim city center. Follow this road over the railway bridge and turn left just after the bridge. You have now passed the train station on your right before you swung, and the 1902 mansion, just after the turn. At the roundabout, turn left onto Old Trondheimsvei. Follow this in bridge over E6 and further towards Kløfta. This stretch has high traffic loads and there is no bike path here and is not recommended for children.
Take the road to the left, signposted Ullensaker church, follow this underground underneath the railway and bridge over the E6. Note the historic road signs before crossing the railway. The road goes through the cultural landscape and you will eventually follow the same road as you came past Ullensaker church.
Follow Kongsvingervegen, RV 2 towards Kløfta and back to Kløfta station.
