Do you want a wonderful bathing experience? Gåfossen in Leira, a few kilometers west of Maura, is a popular place for those who either want to swim or just sunbathe. You can lie and sunbathe or swim in the waterfall or many of the small "pools" below the waterfall.
Parking along the road and approx a couple of minutes to walk down to the bathing area itself – small path down from the road to the bathing area – and a small steep slope so you have to be mobile. Second suitable for slightly older children and adults.
