HOLMSBU:

Bråtan:
Here you will find a grassy slope and a child-friendly sandy beach. There are no toilets. Arrival at Støaveien 28. Nearest parking at the long-term parking lot in Holmsbu. Sun all afternoon and evening.

Bugtestranda:
A shallow sandy beach that is warm and suitable for small children. Located northwest facing below the buildings in Bugtegaten, just before you get down to the center of Holmsbu. The beach offers toilet facilities. Nearest parking at the long-term parking lot in Holmsbu.

Børraverket:
Is a small headland with rocky shores and two small sandy beaches. Here it is sunny all day, but sometimes with strong currents. The area does not have toilets. Descending between Støaveien 10 and 12. Nearest parking at the long-term parking lot in Holmsbu.

Hotellstranda:
The hotel stranda is located at Støaveien, right below Holmsbu bad. The beach has rocky shores, grassy slope and a small beach. The area does not have a toilet. The nearest parking is at the long-term parking lot in Holmsbu.

Trepottodden:
To get to Trepottodden, there is a descent from the north end of Bugtegaten. It is a popular swimming spot with rocky shores. The area does not offer a toilet. The nearest parking is at the long-term parking lot in Holmsbu.

Knivsvik
Nice beach between Verket and Holmsbu in the Drammensfjorden. You can walk the coastal path or get there by car. There is a toll road (payment) to Knivsvik and parking facilities right before the beach.

Skjøttelvik
Skjøttelvik is a shallow beach between Rødtangen and Tofte. The easiest access is via the coastal path or by boat. There is a car road down to the beach, but there is a toll road and no parking nearby.

Rødtangen:
A shallow family-friendly sandy beach by the campsite. At Nebba, close by, there are rocky shores by Rødtangen lighthouse. Access to toilets and kiosk at Rødtangen camping. Parking at the turning point at Rødtangen.

Filtvet:
During the summer months, the area by Filtvet lighthouse is open for swimming and recreation. Here you will find a beach with pebbles. You also have access to toilets.

TOFTE:

Apotekstanda:
Apotekstranda is located in Tofte, the southernmost point in Hurumlandet. The name comes from the fact that there used to be a pharmacy here, also called Smerlingstranda. Here you will find a child-friendly sandy beach and rocky cliffs. The beach is adapted for the disabled and there are toilets and playground equipment in the area. Parking right by the beach.

Skjæra:
A recreational area with a child-friendly sandy beach and a headland with rocky cliffs. There is a campfire site and mooring facilities on the beach. A short walk to the kiosk and shops. There are parking facilities in Tofte and a bus stop near the beach.

Preisserstranda:
Preisserstranda is located in the very south of Hurumhalvøya, and is ranked as one of the most important beaches in the area when it comes to recreation. It is possible to drive to the Djervbanen railway in Sagene on Tofte and park your car there.
Bakkestranda:
Bakkestranda is a beach with a sandy beach in Sagene on Tofte. Here you will also find cliffs, a lawn area and a toilet. A swimming raft and a sand volleyball court. You can park at Sagene marina.
Sandbukta:
Is a bay at the very south of Hurumlandet. Here you will find a beautiful sandy beach and the place is protected as a nature reserve. There is parking at Sagene, about 1 km to walk to the beach. The blue-marked coastal path between Tofte and Ertsvika also passes Sandbukta. There is a toilet on site.

KANA:

Ertsvika:
Ertsvika is a bay at the very south of Hurumlandet, by Kana. It has coastal coniferous forest, the outlet of a year-round stream and is a privately owned sandy beach of about 400 meters. You drive in at Tronstad Gaard and park at the barrier. It is about 2 km to walk. Arrival also via the coastal path in Hurum and by boat.

Places for swimming in Ås

In Ås municipality there are some idyllic beaches along the Bunnefjord.

Breivoll at the far end of the Bunnefjord have many small beaches, large grassy areas with room for ball games etc. Ideal for families with children. Kiosk, diving board, fishing place, information board. Parking, 250 metres to the bus connection. Suitable for wheelchair users.

Slora at the western side ofthe Bunnefjord has a sandy beach.

Places to swim in Nannestad

Lima
In the south end of Hurdalsjøen is Lima which is a nice area –  great for everyone especially for kids. The space has a toilet building.

It is also swimming spots in the river Leira between Stråtjern og Hombledalen.

There are also bathing at Krokfoss and Fossfossen.
Stordammen in Holter has also opportunities for swimming.

Places to swin in Nittedal

Høldippeldammen – is as an idyllic swimming spot not so long trip from Nittedal station,green areas, diving boards, piers and shallow swimming areas for children. In the summer months there are toilets at the swimming area.

Verksdammen close by Hakadal, which many used to take a dip in the summer. The place is not very well suited for smal children.

Morttjern is right by Wurth headoffice, and right before going Holum   – School can be found on the right a great swimming area a few meters from the road. Fine sandy beach created and the bathing area is ideal for families.

Svarttjern located on the border between Skillebekk and Holum forest, with access from Tjernslia.

Rulsedammen is part of Nitelva and easily accessible to residents on both Åneby and Toyen. The bathing area is ideal for families with small children, and have nice sandy beach, but there are also opportunities for older children and adults.it

Romstjern is beautifully located close to Skytta. 

Kjulstjern in Lillomarka, not far from Sørskogen, a wonderful and idyllic swimming spot “deep in the woods” – also great hiking.

Storøyodden beach – Fornebu – Blue Flag

Storøyodden beach is located on the outskirts of Storøya, has 50 acres of grassy plains for sunbathing and play and a large beautiful sandy beach. Small islet set off the sandy beach. Service facility with grills, shower, toilet and kiosk. Great handicap friendly ramp.

Nice coastal path around the entire Fornebu if you are tired of lying on the beach. A short stroll to the nature reserve and wetland with rich bird and wildlife at Lilløyplassen visitor center, which also organizes many nice eventsf or the children throughout the summer.

FornebuS shopping center within walking distance to the beach where there is a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Access: Best to get to the beach by bike. Bus to Fornebu West. A walk / bike ride on dirt road from the bus / parking. This is a nice little walk.

Parking: 6 Handicap parking spaces right on the beach. Other Parking at Storøya neighboring center, Fornebu Arena or out on Oksenøya.

Varm in Vollen provides bathing pleasure all year round!

Varm has a wood burning stove and an exterior hot shower. Large windows facing the sea let in a lot of light and give a beautiful view of Nesodden, Vollen and the Oslo Fjord Museum.

Places to swim in Eidsvoll

Both swimming spots at Hurdalsjøen is child friendly with nice sandy beaches and Rødvika/Prestsand .

At the lake Mjøsa you find bathing area Årnestangen which has a wonderful large green area and on the other side of Mjøsa's you find Ørbekkstranda.

Gullverket has three swimming areas and Langset Vels Beach by the North of Fløyta is a very nice place. Øvre Holsjøen is a swimming area at Løntjernbråtan but swimming opportunities are unfortunately limited because of the rehabilitation of the dam. Øvre-Holsjø in Jøndalsvassdraget you will find swimming in Fløyta og Søndre Holsjø.

In fet you have several places to swim – Hvalstjern, Heiavann and Gansvika.
Gansvika has great areas, there is also the tavern and opportunities to cruise with M / S Øyeren.

Places to swin in Ullensaker

Nordbytjernet
Ullensaker’s most popular swimming area –  with piers and toilets and large spaces that are ideal for sunbathing. The area is a beautiful place that attracts many people on fine summer days. Gateway and footpath is suitable for wheelchairs and prams. Walking distance from the town of Jessheim

Ljøgottjernet
Located at Raknehaugen, the largest burial mound. The area is small, with  sandy beach and picnic tables / seating. The swimming area is in the south end of the lake closest to the road. Parking by Hovin school.

Hersjøen
An attractive recreational area, and Hersjøen swimming area is at the former camping. There is also a rich bird and animal life including ducks and waders. Parking facilities at the north end of the lake at Risebru by Mogreina school and at the campsite.

Aurtjern
Aurtjern is part of Aursmoen landscape areas located west of Sessvoll. Possibilities for swimming.

Stordammen Borgen
Nice area with attractive swimming. Follow the trail from the parking at Borgen School.

Hvam Sætertjern
Located in southeast Ullensaker Holtermarka. Hvam Sætertjern is in summer used for swimming and fishing. Ingjerdsmyr, and then the first left towards Wethalsgrenda. It is a half mile walk to the lakeside from the tollroad and the small cottage.

Sandvolleyball i Asker

Beach volley is a fun sport and there are several nice outdoor courts in Asker available to everyone. All you need is a good mood and a volleyball and 4 players – two on each team, but you can also have more for fun and games.
