The summer boats route B21 and B22 are a great and affordable way to visit the summer towns and swimming spots along the Oslo Fjord. B21 runs all week, while B22 sails every Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer. Fornebu, Vollen and Slemmestad

Fornebu offers plenty of outdoor art, park areas, and beaches, and the hotels provide great lunches and accommodation in a pleasant setting with sea views.

Vollen is a charming town with small-scale housing and lively activity both during the day and in the evening at its many cafés and restaurants.

The OsloFjord museum

Coastal history, activities, and fjord stories are shared at the Oslo Fjord Museum. There is rental of kayaks and SUP boards, as well as great outdoor areas with disc golf and the Blekkulf trail. There are many wonderful opportunities for walking along the coastal path in the area. In Slemmestad, you can see 400-million-year-old fossils up close, including imprints of trilobites and cephalopods in the rock around the town.

Drøbak and Oscarsborg

Drøbak is the largest and most visited town along the summer route. Here, you’ll find a lively atmosphere in the small boat harbor, in the beach park, and around the town square, where a market is held every Saturday. There is a wide selection of shops, galleries featuring various types of art, and many excellent places to eat.

The boat also stops at Håøya, a favorite island among boaters in the Oslo Fjord, where you can buy fresh baked goods and cheese from Håøya Naturverksted. Camping is also allowed here.

Explore the cannons, museums, and green areas at Oscarsborg Fortress, which can be reached by a 5-minute ferry ride. Oscarsborg Hotel & Resort and Havnekroa serve delicious food, from simple dishes to à la carte meals, making it easy to spend the whole day there

Nesoddtangen

Nesoddtangen can be reached by many boats from Oslo. It is a lovely area for walking among small houses, with great views across Akershus and toward Oslo. At Hellviktangen Art Café, you’ll be served organic, homemade food with a beautiful view of Oslo. A visit to the Nordre Spro Kråkesølv mine is also recommended for an exciting exploration, where you can see shimmering silver glints inside the mine
