Join us to explore the tranquility of the forest and the fungi growing in Østmarka National Park.
Quiet walking and curiosity are on the agenda as Vita—a nature educator specializing in mycology—and Nina Alida—a certified forest bathing guide—invite you to a sensory walk. Which mushrooms are edible? We will get to know some safe, easily recognizable edible mushrooms, look at examples of poisonous ones we might encounter, and explore the fascinating diversity and role of fungi.
We will find calm as we enter the forest through *shinrin-yoku*, a simple, pressure-free Japanese practice that translates to "bathing in the forest atmosphere."
Through gentle sensory exercises and curious exploration, we invite you to experience the forest with both your body and your eyes. Along the way, we will discover the fascinating world of fungi—how they interact with trees and plants, why they are so vital to the forest, and how they can spark curiosity and joy, not least through culinary experiences.
Registration: Pay the participation fee of NOK 400 via Vipps to 95244004.
You will receive a message with participation details.
Arrival: We meet at Bindingsvann in Enebakk, 5 minutes from the Gran bus stop. Travel time from the Bus Terminal/Bjørvika is approximately 35 minutes. Several parking options are available.

ABOUT FOREST BATHING
Forest bathing (*shinrin-yoku*) is a slow, meditative sensory walk in nature, where the goal is to "bathe" in the forest atmosphere. It is not about reaching a hiking destination, but about being present in the moment. We take in the landscape through our senses—calming the nervous system, reducing stress, and boosting our health. Connecting more deeply with nature than one does on an ordinary hike is a unique and personal experience!
